You answered very truthfully. We do it with hope and I too would have done things a lot differently if I had only known to. But I didn't. Wish I had.
And yes, congrats that you have some publishers looking at your work!!! Will be praying too that the right one takes your book!
Appreciate your honesty.Terri Tiffanyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07771622379178654235noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37564802.post-7017257465652128762010-04-26T10:18:47.320-07:002010-04-26T10:18:47.320-07:00HUGE congrats on your MS being considered!!! Getting that interest in your work is a great step.

There are so many things I always say I would have done differently on my writing journey but now that I've read your post, I'm beginning to change my mind. I could have learned more and learned faster, I could have gone to more (or any) conferences and read craft books. I should have. But what I neglected to do or the mistakes I made have made me the writer I am now. I've also been able to share all these mistakes with others and help them on their own writing journey so the things I could have or should have done differently were still for a purpose.

Now that I feel like I'm on a more stable path, I'm going to keep trusting God that he has a place for me in publishing. Besides, this journey is far to difficult and stressful and inconsistent to try to make it on my own :)

Thanks for your post!Cindy R. I know it lurked in my brain for a long time (hence, my post today).

that's awesome that you're full manuscript is with three publishing houses right now! It's nice to be on this journey with others. :)Katie Gansherthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09150375338556869812noreply@blogger.com
