I'm a Guest Blogger!

Okay, the countdown is on - one more week of dealing with dial-up! Then I shall be much more diligent with my posts here.
Anyway, today I'm a guest blogger on my agent Rachelle Gardner's site.
If you have time to check it out, please do.

Thanks for sharing your beautiful thoughts on Rachelle's blog this morning. Beautiful is not often a word I use in the same sentence as rejection, but there is grace that has come to me in the midst of getting those letters. And grace always breathes beautiful.

I won't lie. My tears cry hard and pitiful and root at my questions about what I think I need to be doing with my life. But God heals and woos me back to the pen everytime. He is the worthy boast of my words, and for as long as the ink remains, I will write for Him, despite the rejection of man.

Thanks for your timely thoughts.

Hi Catherine,
Thanks for stopping by my blog :-)
I think that, one, he thought it was funny. He has five kids so I think maybe it reminded him of stuff.
But it also had to do with his message. It was quite a while ago, but I think he was on a thing about how we do stuff (disobedient, sinful stuff) and then wonder why we got hurt.
Like, God gives us guidelines but sometimes we keeping doing the same stuff, even when it keeps hurting.
At least, that's what I got from the message.
But having a four, two, and one year old, it also made me laugh so hard I cried.
:-)
